Legends of Rhaplanca, or sometimes called as
Myths of Rhaplanca, are a series of tales known by the people of Metafalss. Metafalss or Meta Falss (defined as "Province of Falss" in Hymmnos language) is a region in the world of Ar Ciel ("This World").
Salavec Rhaplanca or The Sacrifice of Rhaplanca, is one from the three lines or sub-stories of
Legends of Rhaplanca. This line basically told about Rhaplanca that becomes a sacrifice to save her people from destruction.
Singing Hill ~The Sacrifice of Rhaplanca~ is one of song that told the story belongs to the Salavec Rhaplanca line. Rhaplanca was a princess, while Maoh was a knight in the city of Lelentas. They both grew alongside together, and Maoh developed feelings of love toward Rhaplanca. However, Rhaplanca rejected his feelings knowing that she would only cause him sadness. Later in the story,
Rhaplanca was taken by the
priests of Lelentas, who made her into sacrifice of ancient oath: that "God" would provide
the city with power and prosperity for as long as they
sacrificed to it a girl per year.
